Our client, a company specializing in the development and marketing of internationally known websites, and a leader in its field is seeking to hire a Junior Legal Consultant to be based in their Nicosia, Cyprus office.

Responsibilities:

• Performing high volumes of junior level entry tasks with initial guidance by a more senior lawyer
• Drafting agreements and other legal documentation/correspondence  
• Updating the terms of use on our various properties, as required or requested and under the supervision of a more senior lawyer
• Synthesizing legal research and analysis of correspondence into a coherent written memorandum for a supervising lawyer
• Performing various organizational and administrative tasks to help organize the department
• Assist the legal team and undertake additional or other duties within his/her capacity as necessary to meet the needs of the department
• Reporting to the Lead Legal Counsel

Requirements:

·      Law Degree

·      Master of Laws in Intellectual Property, Corporate, Contract or related field will be considered an advantage

·      Experienced in corporate/commercial, intellectual property law and data protection laws (GDPR)

·      International exposure will be considered an advantage

·      At least 2-3 years of post-qualified experience in a similar role

·      Excellent command of both Greek and English, spoken and written. German will be considered an advantage

·      Team player with strong organizational skills

·      Ability to research, review and create legal documents

·      Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
