Limassol
Our client, a start-up Cypriot investment firm in Larnaca, is looking for 2 experienced candidates to join their offices in Limassol as an Executive Director. The company has just been established and they need two executive directors for the establishment of the company and for the process of obtaining the license. The license obtaining and the activation period can take up to 7 months. For that time we are looking for part time employees hours (2 - 3 hours per day) who can work from home for the first 2-3 months as there is not much work to do during those first few months. After the company has been licensed and is operating there is a possibility to stay for the same amount of hours (2 - 3 hours per day) for one or both Executive Directors.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and implementing strategy aiming at the development of the company's business
Lead, review, monitor and guide the company's compliance policies and regulatory reporting
Ensure commitment to and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across the organization
Be member of the board of directors and the senior management team of the company
Prepare and/or monitor the preparation of any compliance reports
The ideal candidate will have:
University degree in Law, Economics, Finance or equivalent
Fluent in English and Greek
CySEC Advanced Certification
Work experience (2-3 years) in AML, Compliance at a regulated forex company
Efficiency and consistency in meeting deadlines
Competitive salary based on experience and skills
Working Hours: The first 2-3 months there will be no activity so the job will be done remotely for maximum 2 hours per day. After establishing the company, the job will be 2-3 hours per day.
