Job Description
Our client is a well-established investment firm with over many years of experience in the trading industry and is currently looking for a Deputy Compliance Officer. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of CySEC licensing and regulations and experience in a similar position.
Job Responsibilities
- Responding to Compliance inquiries
- Preparing Compliance and AML policies, procedures, forms and executing training
- Drafting the Company’s Manuals and Business Policies
- Drafting procedures for in-house use and resolving any dispute regarding compliance matters
- Making certain that employees are following internal compliance guidelines
- Drafting procedures for cooperation with outsourced Service Providers
- Reviewing the marketing promotional material and tools and advice as to the applicable legislation ensuring compliance at the same time
- Auditing all policies and procedures in order to be in line with CySEC’s requirements
- Handling clients’ complaints
- Enacting corrective measures when necessary and informing the Chief Compliance Officer
- Preparing and maintaining AML Program and AML checks in all transactional processes
- Monitoring transactions, published content and recorded calls and reporting any deficiencies to the Chief Compliance Officer
- Liaising and communicating with the Regulator in the absence of the Chief Compliance Officer
- Preparing and submitting of reports to CySec when needed
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a CIF
- Legal Background would also be considered an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of CySEC licensing and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- CySEC Advanced Certificate
- Fluent English
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
