CareerFinders, on behalf of JCC, one of the Islands’ most respected Information Technology providers, with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a highly capable and well-qualified IT Software Engineer to join their expanding team.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support Banks for their Card Issuing System.
- Analyze user requirements.
- Write technical solutions from client’s requirements.
- Study, analyze and explain system functionalities.
- Identify, prepare and execute test scenarios.
- Develop test plans and test scripts.
- Identify defects/faults that are not according to specifications.
- Liaise with software vendors for new applications/functionalities.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in the field of Computer Science / Engineering or related field at an accredited University.
- Programming skills in C, C++ and JAVA.
- Knowledge in Databases, SQL and PL/SQL.
- Perform software analysis, programming, testing and debugging.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong understanding of testing concepts and methodologies.
- Hands on experience in all phases of test execution.
- Good knowledge in defect management and tracking.
- Teamwork and team spirit.
- Experience in cryptography and security keys will be consider an advantage.
- Previous experience in Payment Cards and/or Card Issuing systems and EMV technology will be consider an advantage.
- Strong professional speaking and writing skills in both Greek and English.
