CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading provider of Corporate and Accounting services, we are seeking to recruit a VAT Specialist for their expanding operations in Nicosia.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Completion and submission of VAT and VIES returns.
- Completion and submission of various VAT forms regarding VAT registration, de-registration and applications for VAT refunds on behalf of clients.
- Reviewing client transactions and advising on VAT implications.
- Communicating and liaising with clients and VAT authorities.
- Handling of ad-hoc VAT issues and requests.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree in Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Member of a Professional Accounting Body (ACA/ACCA/CPA) or studying towards such a qualification.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a VAT dedicated role is essential.
- Working knowledge and understanding of VAT legislation.
- Fluency in Greek and English (Written & Spoken).
