The position:
We are looking for a high calibre and career oriented junior Financial Products Analyst to join our team in Cyprus!
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Ensuring that clients have access to up-to-date market and pricing information
- Obtaining pricing from Liquidity providers
- Monitoring the functioning of all trading systems and platforms
- Monitoring spreads and their competitiveness on a daily basis
- Monitoring and maintaining the costs related to the tradable instruments (swaps, commissions, spreads etc.) in line with the market standards
- Performing competitive analysis on all products and highlighting potential improvements
- Analyzing and preparing for new products
- Keeping up to date with market information and monitoring trends in all instruments with emphasis on news announcements, earnings releases, and corporate actions
- Updating and supporting colleagues from other departments as necessary
Main requirements:
- University / College graduate in Finance, Economics or equivalent
- 1 year experience in either a financial institution or brokerage firm
- CFA qualification or studying towards CFA will be considered an advantage
- Good knowledge of Financial Markets with emphasis on FX, Equities, and Futures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Working knowledge of different trading platforms (MT4, MT5) is considered an advantage
