Our client, an investment firm based in Limassol, is looking for an Accountant with previous experience in the FX/Binary industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for booking journal entries, invoices and bank payments in the accounting system
• Effecting payments relating to expenses, taxes and payments to the company’s creditors
• Recording and reporting of the entity and transactions of cash and bank accounts and preparing bank reconciliations
• Maintaining, monitoring and recording the petty cash of the Company
• Monthly reconciliation of suppliers back to monthly supplier statements
• Organizing the payment run and inputting payments both manually and via online banking
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and reconciling back to the accounting system
• Prepare Monthly management accounts and provide to Head of Finance within the required deadlines
• Assist with the preparation of CAR (Capital Adequacy Reporting) and relevant regulatory submissions
• Assisting with ad hoc projects, reporting and analysis assigned by the Head of the Department for Management Accounts and Financial Reporting purposes
• Provide to the relevant authorities (tax, social insurance etc.) all reports required in a timely manner
• Able to collaborate with both internal and external auditors
• Liaising with various professional providers, for monitoring and reviewing purposes 

• University Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field such as
• LCCI Higher or Equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• High attention to detail and proactive thinking
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• IT literate (Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written
• Knowledge of Navision will be considered an advantage
