Due to the extension of their company our client, a modern and growing technology company based in Nicosia, is looking to recruit a passionate Software Developer to produce high quality collaboration solutions based on latest web, mobile and .NET technologies. The office is specialized in chat software and has a relaxing working atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Work with team to design, develop and deliver high quality solutions
- Provide development and troubleshooting support for existing systems
- Follow the team's processes to achieve quality and excellence when delivering products
- Design and develop standard compliant web software based on the .NET stack
- Assist on internal or customer development projects as required
Requirements:
- EU-citizenship / valid work permit
- Computer Science/Software engineering degree or equivalent (2:1 or above)
- Experience of working with modern HTML, CSS and OO JavaScript
- Experience of working with REST and SOAP based web services
- Experience of C#, and the .NET platform up to and including 4.5
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in test driven development and automated testing
- Good understanding of software design patterns such as MVC or MVVM
- Proven ability to take ownership of work, communicate and collaborate in a team
- Desirable:
- Experience with developing Enterprise applications
- Web Frameworks; React, ExtJS, Sencha Touch and jQuery
- Experience working with Lync/Skype for Business, SQL Server, SharePoint, ASP.NET
- Experience of developing hybrid mobile applications for Android and iOS
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams
The working hours are flexible. Usually they start at 8.30-10am and leave whenever they feel work is done; usually that's around 5.30-7pm.
