Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) position is a key role within the company, with responsibilities ranging from defining the internal processes to be followed for the full sales and on boarding cycle, to building and leading teams, handling new projects, exploring potential business opportunities, etc.
The successful candidate will be liaising with management to drive projects forward and locate potential business deals by contacting potential partners, engaging with external introduces, etc. He will develop a strong understanding of our client’s services as well as the client’s setups, enabling him to identify potential needs of the clients, which can be satisfied through our offering.
A good fit for the BDM position is a person who is passionate, proactive and highly effective at driving projects forward; someone that’s well-versed in technology, precise in his execution, experienced in managing and working with people, and gifted in building and maintaining relationships.
A strong technical understanding is a must in order to understand the offering in depth, be able to define processes and create product descriptions and documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to recruit, build and manage a team of professionals
  • Engage and work with external introducers to increase our client base
  • Engage and maintain good relationships with partners
  • Develop and explore business opportunities through partners
  • Engage and work with external resources or various projects
  • Prepare product descriptions and materials explaining our services
  • Drive marketing campaigns focused on areas of interest
  • Represent the company at expos and events
  • Maintain a solid understanding of our offering and the client’s setup details
  • Engage in communication with our clients, to explore new business opportunities, receive feedback, etc. Secondary tasks and responsibilities
    Explore new business ideas and services and work with management to enhance our offering
  • Define and document the sales, on-boarding and customer support processes
  • Liaise with other departments to manage the content and design our website and marketing materials
  • Take on and drive forward various projects based on business requirements

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Development / Project Management role within the IT industry
  • Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of solution selling
  • Strong analytical skills enabling to write detailed descriptions of the services
  • Experience with defining company processes and workflows
  • Strong technical background and abilities
  • Excellent all round communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize different tasks quickly
  • Ability to interact with clients and peers with a flexible and mature attitude to work
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with the ability to motivate all team members
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is preferred
  • Experience in the Forex Industry is a plus Qualifications
    Relevant academic background: computer science or IT, master’s degree represents a plus
  • Proficiency in English
