On behalf of our client, a large International Group of Companies with offices in Nicosia we are seeking to recruit for the position of an Accountant.
The ideal candidate should be able to meet the following criteria:
· Minimum 5 years of accounting work experience in accounting for clients or in another Group of Companies with an international structure.
· Experience with accounting for loans, calculation of interest, back to back loans, reverse VAT charges, foreign currency calculations, accounting for investments, financial instruments and brokerage statements.
· Some previous experience as an auditor will be considered an advantage
· Assist with the preparation of management accounts
· Knowledge of Caseware and E-Soft Accounting Software will be considered as a strong advantage
· Strong sense of urgency and responsibility in meeting deadlines
· Regular communication with clients for the exchange of information and collection of documents
· Excellent coordinating skills and ability to liaise with external auditors for completing the audits
· Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
· Professional attitude
· A professional qualification is not a prerequisite
