Job Description

Our client is a Cyprus Investment Firm licensed and regulated by CySec. As part of a group of companies within the Russian banking sector the company will provide traditional investment services to clients located in Russia, trading with Russian Financial Instruments.

As the Head of RTO and reporting to the Managing Director of the Cyprus office, the duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Communication with intermediaries, custodians, sub-brokers on a daily basis
  • Implementation of the department's strategy, internal regulations and procedures of the department
  • Receives and properly records client orders, ensuring  performance of identity checks of the clients
  • Examines the adequacy of clients financial resources
  • Adopts quality and performance control standards
  • Transmission of orders, the soonest possible, ensuring proper priority order
  • Applies company's "order execution policy"
  • Responsible for the safe execution of clients' orders
  • Ensures that order parameters ( price, quantity etc)  are those predetermined by the client
  • Ensures that clients' orders are executed as per clients predetermined conditions
  • Ensure that the electronic systems are working properly
  • Ensures that companies trading platform/ software is up to date and operational
  • Keeps proper books and records ( all orders and executed trades)
  • Monitors executed transactions
  • Avoids any conflict of interest in compliance with companies conflict of interest policy
  • Record - keeping in regard of received and executed Client Orders
  • Produces various reports ( data for  internal accounting, AML, CySEC reporting)
  • Overall responsibility of the Department


The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Fluent in English with Russian an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years experience  working for a CIF in settlements, custody services areas
  • CySEC advanced certificate holder
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters
  • Degree in Economics/Banking/Finance/Accounting
