On behalf of our client, a Financial Services organization based in Limassol, we are looking to recruit a full-time Senior Java Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for product development using Agile methodologies and multi-threading technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Collaboration with the management, stakeholders and team members in order to meet strict deadlines
● Reviewing current systems
● Presenting ideas for system improvements
● Working closely with analysts, designers and staff
● Maintaining the systems once they are up and running
● An ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced coding environment

QUALIFICATIONS

● BSc in Computer Science
● Experience with JBOSS Netty or Apache Mina projects
● Experience with financial trading / trading platforms development
● Performance optimization
● Solid experience with unit testing
● Test-driven development experience
● Minimum 3+ years experience working in Senior Java Developer position
● Strong J2SE programming skills
● Multi-threading
● Experience in TCP/IP networking and sockets programming;
● Skills in a high performance and low latency environments
● Design patterns
● Strong analytical skills required to solve complicated technical problems
● English Language
● S.O.L.I.D. principles of OOD
