Job Description
The content writer will create all written material for the company, either digital or printed form, and ensure that standards of quality are maintained in order to give the best possible image of the company at the initial stage.
Required Qualifications
1. Write all marketing and promotional material and content.
2. Co-ordinate the creation and publishing of landing pages, mailers, banners, newsletters, e-books and press releases.
3. Create content for client emails, presentations and manuals.
4. Write new website content and update existing text as necessary.
5. Maintain the company’s blogs and create interesting content that will be new and fresh for clients.
6. Create content on topics related to the company and its activities for the company’s social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google Plus etc.
7. Implement description tags in text in order to be able to link back to our websites.
8. Ensure that web content is user friendly and keywords are optimized for SEO benefit.
9. Prepare internal and external communication, including, but not limited to, announcements and press releases.
10. Write material for the creation of effective banners, ads and landing pages.
11. Help plan and implement social marketing campaigns for specific marketing goals.
12. Keep up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends.
13. Any other ad hoc activities not listed above, which may occur on an as and when needed basis.
14. Native English speaker with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
15. Knowledge of the foreign exchange (forex) industry and ability to create financial reports and analyses will be considered an advantage.
