Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include:
• Assume full profit and loss responsibility e.g. set budgets and targets, oversee the financial performance, drive actions to meet targets
• Implement the Company’s business plan as it is approved by the Board of Directors
• Ensure the compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements that affect the operations of the Company locally and internationally and assure the compliance of internal controls, procedures and processes
• Identify opportunities for growth and make relevant recommendations
• Communicate on a regular basis with the Board of Directors and provide updates/written reports as requested
• Act as the liaison between the local office and the overseas office(s) of the Group
• Handle relationships with external associates such as accountants, auditors, lawyers, local authorities etc.
• Lead and manage the local management team including recruitment, development and supervision of staff
• Take on any ad hoc duty or responsibility as assigned by the Board of Directors
Profile of the ideal candidate
• University Degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Finance or a related field
• Member of a Professional Accounting body (ACA/ ACCA/ CPA) will be considered an advantage
• 4-5 years of experience in a senior managerial role is a must
• Knowledge of Russian language is a must
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Computer literacy
• Good knowledge of the English language
