The company
A growing and promising newly established company with international operations in the field of genetics
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility of the Finance function and will report to the COO of the company. Main responsibilities include:
• Ensure the smooth operation of the Finance function
• Assure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flows and other financial reports
• Liaise with external associates such as auditors, banks, clients etc.
• Identify and monitor funding opportunities
• Handle VAT and Tax issues
• Involved in the process of costing and pricing
• Manage and develop the accounting team
Profile of the ideal candidate
• Member of a Professional Accounting body (ACA/ ACCA)
• At least 3 – 4 years post qualification experience is a must
• Strong business and commercial awareness
• Dynamic, hands on and results driven
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Very good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Fluent in English
