Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties
• Development and modification of computer networks.
• Install new Operating Systems and operate VMWare host services and HyperV host services.
• Implementation and troubleshooting of 802.11 technology.
• Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstations.
• Research, design, implement, and troubleshoot information systems and technology solutions in support of business needs.
Requirements
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Must have 3 – 5 years of industry experience as a network system administrator engineer or wireless engineer.
• Strong working knowledge of the 802.11a/b/g/n WIFI network.
• Certified Wireless Network Professional or any other proven certification in the wireless network filed.
• Be proficient with networking concepts (TCP/IP, IP Addressing, ports, routing, bandwidth, latency, IP Tables, NAT).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu/Centos Operating system.
• Experience with Vmware Technologies (Citrix XenServer, Oracle VM VirtualBox, VMWare Workstation),
• Cisco Administration (router, switches) and Security protection mechanisms (Firewall, IPS).
• Experience with Microsoft Active directory configuration and maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and managers.
