A well established, long standing Organisation in Cyprus
Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who seeks a position in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility of the accounting function and will report to the CFO. Main responsibilities include:
• Ensure the smooth operation of the accounting department
• Assure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner
• Handle VAT and Tax issues
• Liaise with external associates such as auditors, banks, clients etc.
• Reorganise and reschedule the accounting work and methods
• Contributes to the preparation and monitoring of budgets, cash flows and other financial reports
• Manage and develop the accounting team
Profile of the ideal candidate
• Member of a Professional Accounting body (ACA/ ACCA/CPA)
• At least 4 years post qualification experience. Experience within the industry sector will be considered an advantage
• Strong business and commercial awareness
• Dynamic, hands on and results driven
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a large team of individuals
• Very good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Fluent in Greek and English
