Job Description
• Business analysis to determine customer business processes and requirements
• Specification and design of a solution architecture
• Technical Installation, configuration and integration of the company’s software applications into the customer business environment
• Documentation of implementation deliverables throughout the entire project
• Continuous technical and functional support to the customer throughout the entire project
• Assistance in post-project support and maintenance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Primary responsibility to project execution maintaining a personal utilization target of 70% (as a project member) or the project team (as a project leader).
• Maintain project/deliverable quality by following the standards and procedures set
• Proactively identify and prioritize potential technical risks, manning/de-manning requirements, advise solution options and discuss with Project Leader.
• In cooperation with Project Leader & project team members, monitor and resolve technical issues
• Able to report and explain the project challenges to technical and managerial personnel
• Always provide support and mentoring to less experienced engineers to ensure their growth and successful project delivery
• Pre–sales technical support to potential new customers

Required Qualifications
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or other related Engineering degree or IT
• Programming experience is a prerequisite.
• Working experience on Manufacturing Execution Systems and real-time data acquisition and historians commercial packages will be considered an advantage.
• Working experience on report development (e.g. Crystal Reports) will clearly be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic or Java, .NET (e.g. VB, C#) as well as MS SQL Server will clearly be an advantage.
• Industrial experience in chemicals, oil and gas, will be an advantage.
• Very good interpersonal and customer facing skills.
• Good communication skills, including good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written; knowledge of a any other language will be considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to the Middle East.
