The client
A well-established processing software vendor company with offices in Cyprus. Market leader in Card Issuing and Merchant Acquiring, Financial Switching, Personalised Mobile Payments, Mobile Wallet and other payment solutions successfully operated by banks, processing and telecom companies in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated young individual who seeks a position in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Main responsibilities include:
• Deliver appropriate software suite on customer site within customer IT business environment
• Analyze system and performance and compile system change needs according to customer requests
• Analyze customer requirements and criteria to appropriate system configuration and/or customization
• Participate in developing system specification and solution architecture process based on customer requests
• Configure and customize technology solutions to meet customer requirements
• Provide technical support to customers during installation, testing phases and troubleshooting
• Handle customer requests and respond as appropriate


Profile of the ideal candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Master’s degree will be considered an advantage
• A minimum 2:1 or over 6.5/10 degree grade will be preferred
• Experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL or a related database is a must
• Knowledge of Java
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and energetic individual
• High levels of drive and commitment
• Fluency in English both written and spoken is a must
