Vedior-Select Cyprus, on behalf of its client, an International Investment Firm, with a substantial asset base and trading in the global financial markets seeking to employ a Internal Auditor.

Responsibilities include:

•Performing Internal Audit reviews, focusing on the audit of operations systems and processes
•Ensuring that management is kept informed on all significant issues, and liaison with team leaders across all business units to promote “best practice”

•Charter Accountant qualification or equivalent
•Previous experience of detailed internal audit and/or regulatory compliance
•Previous responsibility within, or auditing of, fund accounting / reporting in Financial Services
•Excellent verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills
•Versatility in a fast moving environment

•Review and management of transaction documentation including, contracts, and due diligence of investment firms
•Assisting in the ongoing enhancements of a Business Information Management System
•Ad hoc project work as required including assistance with due diligence exercise
•Evaluation of key business processes to assess the effectiveness of controls and provide practical recommendations to reduce risk and add value
•Assisting with Regulatory audits for the various financial regulatory bodies
