Our client is a Marketing & Telecom Services and Value-Added Services Company in Larnaca. The company is looking for a creative, innovative, proactive Bookkeeper/Accountant who can work independently and comes with solutions. The candidate needs to have some experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant and they are looking for someone who is willing to learn. The first contract will be for 6 months but the aim is to get a permanent contract after these 6 months. The company is looking for someone who can start immediately or very soon.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions
Daily reconciliation of Bank statements.
Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
Receiving, approving and, when necessary, investigating clients’ accounts and payable invoices
Reviewing Petty Cash Books
Preparing and submitting VAT forms
Assisting in Preparing monthly management accounts
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or similar in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics
A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an Accountant
Experience in the accounting software SAP Business One will be considered as an advantage
Fluency in English and local language
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
Organized, diligent and detail – oriented
Team player
Positive can-do attitude
Strong analytical skills
The working hours are 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm
