CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-known and respected Financial Services Institutions with head offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an experienced, creative and talented Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant should have previous and demonstrable experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, ideally within an Agile Environment.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse business and system specifications.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and the Development Team to ensure the quality of a feature.
- Build/Maintain an automated test suite.
- Create and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
- Conduct tests across systems, browsers and devices for Web and Mobile.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Report bugs and errors to the Development Team.
- Report defects and assists in troubleshooting.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
- Identify key KPIs for product quality.
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer or a Developer.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience in automated testing tools.
- Experience in performance and/or security testing will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software.
- Familiarity in Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Attentive to detail, methodical, diligent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact on a technical and non-technical level with stakeholders.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
