Job Description


Due to the extension of their company our client, a fast-growing IT Company based in Nicosia, is looking to recruit an experienced Solutions Designer.

Responsibilities:
The Solutions Designer helps transform a set of requirements – customer, IT, industry, and legal/regulatory – into software solutions
Analyses customer needs and develops replies; negotiates with customers
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams
Communicates overall design and approach to a team of programmers; creates flowcharts, diagrams, other models, and programming instructions to guide programming team
Reviews requirement and designs changes, determines what parts of software are affected
Collaborates with other IT specialists, technicians, etc., to deliver software solutions

Skills:
EU-citizenship/Work permit
At least 4 years of related work experience
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline is required; a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering is preferred
Excellent written and spoken English and Greek skills
Able to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Dedicated, motivated and reliable team player
Must have demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of programmers
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential
Must be detail oriented, yet creative
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills needed
Proven experience in designing, delivering high-performance and reliable systems

The working hours are from 9.00 – 18.00 with one hour lunch break (starting at 8am also possible)
