CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-established and highly respected providers of Corporate, Tax & Accounting Services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia. This position would ideally suit a newly qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant seeking a new opportunity in the Accounting field. Full training will be given.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Executing payments and bank transfers on behalf of clients.
- Preparation of Management Accounts and Financial Statements on behalf of clients.
- Review of business and accounting transactions.
- Provide Tax, VAT and compliance advice to clients as and when requested.
- Banking duties, Banking Transfers and reconciliations.
- Follow day to day operations as they arise.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or related field.
- Recently completed ACCA/ACA, years of 2019, 2018 or 2017.
- 3+ years of in an Accounting/Audit role in a professional services firm.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English (Written & Spoken).
- Familiar with accounting software; ideally Navision.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
